ODBC Problems . . .
This is driving me insane
OS: Windows 2000
Software: Zebra Bar-One v5
Hardware: Zebra 90XiII Printer
I'm trying to print my barcodes from a list created orignally in Excel. I have tried text, various Excel revisions, MS Access, and DBF. The problem is that its not reading my list correctly.
For example it should print: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
But its printing (randomly): 1, 2, 2, 4, 5, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1
Its totally getting on my tats now. Anyone have any suggestions before I insert my foot rapidly into the side panel ?

Difficult to say without seeing the file (you can PM me it if you like) and can then try and determine which driver is best for the job

Its a very straightforward file. It looks like:
BARCODES
AB01AAZ001
AB01AAZ002
AB01AAZ003
AB01AAZ004
AB01AAZ005
AB01ABZ001
AB01ABZ002
AB01ABZ003
AB01ABZ004
AB01ABZ005
etc . . .
. . . and has just 590 rows. It used to work on my NT4 machine using the DBFIII driver, but on my new one it just won't have it.
Let me know if you need any more info.

Are you using excel to view it? Trouble is with excel it tries to be too clever, on many occassions a humble CSV file in notepad appears totally different in excel. I would need to see the file if thats possible, a DBase 3 file should be able to be read in excel even using a DB4 driver.

I created it originally in Excel, then saved it as text. Viewed in Notepad, looks fine.
Also tried saving from Excel to DBF.
I'm calling the file from Zebra Bar-One, but I suspect that its ODBC that causing the probs.
I'll drop you a PM to mail the file over.
