Just wondering is it possible to cut a quick clip of a dvd I have and how would I go about this, I'm familiar with avi/divX/mpeg2/mpeg4/(s)vcds etc but haven't wrote a dvd yet so never tried (seem to remember .vob format?)

If it's too complicated and time consuming just for say a 1 or 2min clip then it doesn't matter (I 'may' have a motoring dvd that I 'may' want to make a clip of 1 car from)?
