Fook me seriously stuck setting up linksys wireless g

um as you can prob tell bu my millions of help posts in the past im no computer wizz kid

just bought a link sys wireless g modem router and pcmcia card for me laptop

im connected normally to the net with PIPEX BROADBAND ADSL and normally use there modem

i installed the wireless card into laptop

installed the router as explained in manual using etehrnet ports for configuration

in the manual it lists 5 different conection possibilitys
RFC1483 BRIDGED
RFC1483 ROUTED
RFC2516PPoE
RFC2364PPPoA
BRIDGED MODE ONLY


wtf is that all about? which one should i use?

then ya have to click llc or vc

then username and password (presume thats my pipex one?)


host name and domain name?

mtu auto or manual ?

local ip address

subnet mask
local dhcp server

number of address
client lease time

i think im gona have a heart attack, wtf do i do???

the manual doesnt really help in the slightest, think ill go have a ganders at the pipex website to see if can find any help but im really stuck and gutted as just spent 100 quid on somin i cant use

My network doesn't work if I let XP bridge the network connections together. once I've disabled the bridge everything is fine
