Linux e-mail problem
Hi Everybody!
This is driving me nuts - hope you can help.
Downoladed Mandrake 10 recently, got it up and running and most things seem fine (still cant get the DVD writer to write tho which is why I upgraded in the first place ).
But I can't get the e-mail to work properly and it did before. In Mandrake 9.1 I was using Evlolution e-mail but in 10 the default package is called "Kontact" I have fiddled with the installation settings for the e-mail countless times but I can not get it to sent mail. I can receive e-mail however.
I'm with Freeserve (now wanadoo) and I use a Netgear firewall. I have checked the e-mail settings for the SMPT server over and over with my working windows installation and can't see what I am not doing right.
I am sure there is an easy and obvious solution to this which I am just missing.
Any suggestions as to what this might be?
Cheers!
