Is it possible to extend a wireless network with a wireless repeater or similar? Does such a device actually exist?
I've got a Draytek Vigor 2600We ADSL wireless router but the wireless coverage is poor due to the the 2ft thick walls in the house.
Can I buy a wireless repeater which placed at the edge of the Draytek's coverage whould extend the range of the wireless network?
Any suggestions of what & where to buy much appreciated.
Regards, Mark

yep you can.
Wireless Bridges will do this.

No idea if there is any value in getting the bridge from the same mfr as the modem.

Wireless access points (WAPs) can perform the same role. Also consider a wireless 'repeater', e.g. http://www.linksys.com/products/prod...id=38&prid=629
Hi Dark
Unfortunately you will not be able to extend your wireless range with a repeater. The 2600We does not support either 'repeating' or 'WDS'. You option with the Draytek is either relocating the router or purchasing an Antenna/cable.
