Mounting SDLT in ML570 what part no.
What is the HP part number for the rails, hp claim the brackets that come with the drive are correct...
are they ****..
should be some metal or plastic strips or similar..

QuickSpecs for the ML570 G2 doesn't seem to mention any rails, only:
NOTE: In order to install certain tape drives internally, you may need to remove the rails that come standard on the drives and then re-insert the screws in the mounting holes. Mounting screws are shipped standard with server.

Just done something similar on an ML370. The HP DLT drive didn't come with the correct screws to fit into the drive bay, but if you have a blanking slot then you can use the screws from that. It should slide straight back in and lock correctly.

it had one which was removed then erm... well theres another to go in the hole...
and no screws or rails..

Just to check, your putting the SDLT into one of the removeable 5.25 inch bays?
