another photoshop question
I have just been given a copy of adobe photoshop 5.0 and after finding digimods quite addicted but how do you save an alterd image as a jpeg?
i'm a bit of a teknifobe so please any answers as simple as possible.

Not sure what you mean by digimods, but...
As long as the image is in RGB mode (Image...Mode...RGB Color from the menu), you can File...Save As, then select Jpeg from the file type list.

i ment www.digimods its got a tutorail thing in laymens terms for us idiots that have trouble turnin the bloody thing on

OK, from the menu choose File and then Save As.
You're then presented with the "Save As" window. There should be a "Format" drop-down list, which starts with Photoshop, BMP, Compuserve GIF, Etc. Somewhere down the list is JPEG. Choose this one, and away you go.
If you're making lots of changes to an image, save it in Photoshop format as well, as this preserves any layers, masks, Etc, you've created.
