Yes easy fix, your regional settings on your PC are set to English US as opposed to English UK

Under XP, they are 4 settings (all under Regional Settings)

1. Standards and formats
2. Location
3. Language for Uni-code Programs
4. Text Services and Input Locales

It's the last one that usually sets the Keyboard language layout.

Check all your regional/keyboard settings. One is still set to US.
