I use the "All seeing eye"..

...not a site as such, more like windows explorer - It looks at what games you have installed and displays them down the left side of the screen, you open the game folders up for different vatiants of the game, CTF,DM etc. servers for that particular game are then showed in the main pane, you just highlight one to display rules & players - dead easy to use, I find it much better than trying to play online via the game itself.
When you choose a game to play you just right click and "connect as Player" - the all seeing eye then fires the game up for you and connects you straight to the server.
It is also quite good at filtering the games out you dont want.

I use Gamespy that came with MOHAA. Sounds remarkably similar to post above. List all possible servers, for whichever game, click and play.
