Thumbs up

what is it doing? Must common problem is because script debugging has been turned on in IE options.

Ok, it's XP and IE6. Initially it seems to lock IE, other programs can be used up to a point then the whole thing grinds to a halt prompting a reboot.

Is it a reliable bit of javascript?

If there is a bug in there which causes the script to go into an endless processing loop, it'll gradually eat up all the system resources of the machine, (I've seen it happen).

From what I can gather it's from any site with javascript. I've just tried one of the sites and don't have a problem.
