how about a USB TV turner? then you can use it on any PC with a USB port!

i use it on a old ibm thinkpad 560 running windows 98se and display it on a TFT screen.

I had a WinTV PCI Card which was great, I changed to a WinTV usb so I could use it with a laptop. Bad mistake! nowhere near as good. Might just be mine though.

Nebula DigiTV is the daddy as far as I am concerned.

Of course, this is a digital (Freeview) card so that assumes you can receive in your area.

However, you have all those channels including radio, you get a remote and it does all the recording etc.

Cheers

Ian

Not just you Tandy, I returned a USB Hauppage job yonks ago as the quality and pic response were completely pants compared with PCI ones. USB 2.0 may well help this factor tho methinks with USB 2.0 compatable tv boxes.

This is what I use. Works great at DVD quality. Also use it to view my X-Box and PS2 on the PC when I'm tinkering with them

Cost me £80 ! Its a lot cheaper now
