Unhappy

Before we upgraded to Exchange 2003, users could share their Calendar with individual users or distribution lists.

Now with our new server, they can only grant permissions to individual users. Is this a new restriction with 2003 or is there a problem?

Clients have changed - either running Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003.

Ozzy,

I'll be visiting my Exchange 2003 site later this week (OL 2000 clients), so I'll have a quick look at the options they have for you.

Chris.

Finally got to have a look yesterday afternoon Ozzy.

From an W95 and OL2000 client, I could add permissions to allow any Distribution Group to share the calendar in a mailbox.

Where do you get stuck?

Hey Chris.

We have Outlook 2000 & 2003 clients. I'm right-clicking on a users Calendar (even admin users like me) and select sharing. Then I go to the Permissions tab and add a Distribution List and grant it reviewer permissions.

When I click OK it tells me it can't save the permissions.

Works fine if I just pick a AD user object.

Not sure if I tried to save the settings on Outlook

I'll try exactly what you've done next week and post back.
