Does anybody know of a decent package to convert the above files to VCD/SVCD/MPEG/etc without going through all the various conversion, authoring and then burn process individually, using seperate packages.

OK, so i've converted it to SVCD, but I want to play the file on my DVD player that supports mpeg, could anyone tell me how to approach this.

All I want to do is convert a divx avi to a file format that I can place on a DVD-r/rw, and play it, the file will not fit on a cdr/w.
