Sony Vaio PCG-TR1MP

After a small portable, this one seems to suit my needs.
Wireless, Bluetooth, XP Pro weighs nothing so convenient and won't be easily visibly by prying eyes on train/plane.
Anyone using one of these?
Positive/negative feedback?
Better alternatives ...
Cheers

Have just bought one of these for one of our execs..... - nice peice of kit - everyone who see's it is impressed.
Only downside I could see was the white/ivory keys with silver letters on - not easy to see the letters in a brightish light and its not terribly loud (speakers wise) for in-plane DVD watching
Apart from that it's cracking - was a b4astard to get hold of though - everyone was out of stock - even phoned Sony UK in the end.....
Did hear a rumour it was about to be replaced though - and that was in Dec - it is only a P900Mhz remember......

Bajie - got a Vaio PCG-V505BP. 512MB plus 30Gb disk plus WiFi. Fairly small as well. Good battery life though to be honest ity's nearly always plugged into AC. Screen could be larger (resolution wise) but I have a PC at home for that. It was not a desktop replacement so size was important ... :-)

I was in Hong Kong last year and I made at shortlist of three small notebooks to replace my aging VAIO 600TEK laptop - TR1A, Pana W2 (mucho lite) and Fujistu Loox T90D (JDM)
Went for the Fujistu in the end as my previous Sony Vaio had gone through an AC adapter, battery and HD (v.noisy) in less than 9 months. Check out the price of Sony accessories if you want a SHOCK ! ! ! ! ! The Sony TR1 uses a 1.8" Toshiba HD which is totally going to be a complete BARSTEWARD to get at if it fails, the reason I mention it being that the HD is not suitable for 24/7 currently used in iPod's which is perhaps more appropriate.
I love the T90D which has been utterly flawless, well for WinXP anyway travels everywhere with me and always gives me good battery life, small footprint etc... just add a MS notebook optical mouse for perfection !

Can't find the lifebook but I am surfing on my pda
Got a link I can look at. all the ones I'm seeing are Japanese only.
900mHz not too much of an issue as I won't be multi-tasking.
I am concerned about the hard disc issues though ...

Loads of comments about exactly the type of notebook you seem to be looking for.
US Lifebook Product specs -
LapTop Inc US based retailer
JDM Lifebook Product specs -
Dyamism US based JDM retailer
The pricing can be horrid for JDM models outside Japan/Hong Kong so maybe better to buy the UK model which was reviewed in PC Pro last year only difference that I could see being the T90D has a DVD-R/RW drive, nice
PC Pro review of UK model
