Has anyone got one they want to sell, or does anyone know where I can get hold of one?
My old laptop doesn't have a 32bit cardport and so can't use/recognise the latest PCMCIA USB 2 cards.
I need an old 16 bit Cardbus PCMCIA USB card.
cheers
Tony

Don't ask for Cardbus as Cardbus = 32bit! You need a 16bit PCMCIA card which I believe is only fast enough for USB at 12Mbps.
Have a look at this over at eBuyer. Buying mail order means you can return it within 14 days if unfit for purpose IIRC.

You cannot and will not find a USB socket of any type that works for 16 bit PCMCIA. Technically impossible, apparently
Or at least that's been the repeated findings of the Libretto mail list for about 3 years
