Can someone help me - I'm trying to wire a front panel firewire socket to the motherboard on my computer.

Its a simple 10 pin firewire socket:

Pins 1 & 2 = TAP+ and TPA-
Pins 3 & 4 = GND
Pins 5 & 6 = TPB+ and TPB-
Pins 7 & 8 = Power
Pin 9 = No Pin
Pin 10 = GND

My problem is I have a pair of wires left called VP & VG which I think go on pins 7 & 8, but need it confirming...

Do they go on GND (pins 3 & 4 or do they go on POWER (pins 7 & 8)

Thanks in advance!

I have a wire left over for usb as well.

What is pin 10 "NC" ?

All I have left is a GND wire (I have 2 GND wires already on pins 7&8)
