alright peeps.
I got a bit of a monster pc running two screens and all that crap.
i hardly use it for games at all now, if i did it would only be games like Morrowind.

Ive been thinking of getting a laptop for some time now, but im not sure whether its worth the swap.

I only really use the pc to surf the net,(broadband on a home network),play music(10gig), manage my money(well the pennies), watch films occasionally, Photoshop 7 and odds 'n sods.
Will a laptop be powerful enough to do this?

My pc is a 2.5+Barton, 1GB ram, 120gig HD, geeforce 4200ti, and other bits.
I would like the speed to be as near as poss, and have a large'ish HD.
Will this be possible

Many thanks

Tone

You can certainly get laptops of a similar spec but the price you have to pay in comparison to a PC is astronomic. Unless you really need the portability stick to the PC IMHO.

I got a Laptop about 18 months ago, and while I'm really pleased with it, the next PC I get will be a desktop.

More upgradable and the keyboard on the laptop is a pain, esp as i use the numberpad quite a bit.
