odd, scoobynet works, but everything else does'nt

Aha found the problem.
I've got a virus
It's only been found in the wild since yesturday so Norton did'nt pick it up
And there's me thinking soemone had been fecking with my DNS settings
Very odd that scoobynet worked!
btw virus is Trojan.Qhosts (QHosts-1)

Probably because the IP address had been cached on your machine due to you spending too much time on here

Trojan.Qhosts cannot spread by itself. For a computer to become infected, you would have to open an HTML page that contains code, which allows it to open a viral HTML file on the target computer, so that the script can create and run the malicious executable.

I definitly think it's something to do with scoobynet now the mods have swept it into the computer related courner
