Its a Connextant (model name epic i think) 4 port 10/100 modem router. No big name or anything but does the job perfectly for me. Depends on what you want from it as to whether you want to spend a lot more dosh on one.
I am very pleased with mine so dont care if anyone comes on here and slates it saying oh thats not as good as so and so which cost 2 or 3 hundred quid etc!
And Liverpool fans pay more depending on whether they beat Arsenal or not this season, supplement invoice to be sent end of season

Get pipex and an adsl router, just bought a router off a colleague at work who has his own company and it was £58 and am using it now and its miles better than the crappy green alcatel modem I used before, much faster download speeds!
Let me know if you want one! There is a premium for being a Man Utd supporter though

I'm in the process of changing from Pipex to Plusnet.
Plusnet is cheaper, has much better customer satisfaction figures, and you can get extras such as static IP, web hosting etc.
Let me know if you're interested, 'cause I can recommend you and get a discount!
Also check out ADSL Guide for lots of useful info.

ADSL guide seems to suggest Nildram, NDO or Eclipse.
All of which seem to offer 512meg Lite lines, what the hell does light mean? Light use or?
I use my internet alot and prices vary from 20 quid + VAT per month from those 3 ISPs to 32 quid a month. Why the difference? All seem to have the same contention ratio and provide web space (bar nildram cheapest one).

I have Nildram with a D link ADSL router, Nildram service is great, sort out problems (usually of my own making) quickly without hanging on the phone. The Router is way more reliable then the crappy internal Connexant modem I had, just kept dropping the line, sometimes ok for days and then crap for days, as far as I know the router hasnt lost a connection.
