.......I'm having a few problems stealing the tank............

 

I blocked the road with a car ahead of the convoy. As they pull up to the road block, shoot your car so it explodes. This should hopefully make the two front vehicles catch fire and explode, hopefully killing most of the soldiers.

Take out the remaining soldiers and/or vehicle. Shoot the guy on top of the tank and make your escape.

Probably not the best method and it took me several attempts, but it worked for me.

Thanks PFF i'll give it a go. I was getting a car on fire and driving at the convoy and jumping out, hoping it exploded on impact. good fun but I kept getting wasted

B20 - bikes are great fun but for sheer destructive fun try the bus......

I haven't managed to shoot down the helicopter yet (when you get a 3* wanted level)

 

Block the road with any vehicle... Then when the convoy stops simply climb in the tank... You will instantly have 5stars but to be honest not much will stop you in the tank...

Once you get to your location you will drop the 5stars automatically.....

I didn't think you could just get into the tank, but I could be wrong. I thought you had to at least take out the guy on the tank, at which point all hell breaks loose.

Don't try too hard trying to shoot down a helicopter. Another one comes along soon after.

If this is the mission where you have to steal the tank from the army patrol, All i did was walk with them for a bit at which the patrol stops and the private comes out of the tank to get doughnuts, then I just got in the tank and made a run with it.

 

That way seems somewhat safer.

Wasn't there something about you could follow it and it stops at some point and the driver gets out to go buy some donuts at which point you can just jump in and then are pretty much untouchable so the rest of the army guys don't matter

Thanks that works, shame you only get a couple of minutes with the tank......

 

I think you can drive it into one of your garages if you are quick and save it and then I think you have the tank for your leisure and pleasure
