Guys, can you help here?

I look after the company intranet here and have been asked to load two presentations onto it. I've put them on there and set the links up and when you click on the links and select 'save to disk' then the files download fine and you can open them from there just by double clicking on them.

However, when you select 'open from this location' then you nothing happens. Why might this be? I know the file association is set right otherwise they wouldn't open when opening the file locally, but I don't know what would be causing this. No error messages appear either. Anyone got any ideas?

Also, how do I force IE to open the file without asking whether I want it saved to disk?

Your thoughts are mucho appreciated.

Simon.
