I have just had my work laptop replaced and it is now running w2k advanced server on a compaq evo N610c. Is there any way to enable hibernation and standby using this combination.

Cheers

I can't imagine Win2k Advanced Server would have Standby or Hibernate support, but if it does it would be in the Power Options Control Panel under the Hibernation tab.

You wouldn't normally want a server to go to sleep!

W2000 AS isn't supported on the CPQ laptops and those particular machines do need the appropriate drivers loaded otherwise they'll blue screen.
