e-mail titled re: was i right to delete them ?

had 2 e-mails this morning titled " re: "
i don't recognise the addresses, so i deleted them.
am i right in thinking these could have been viruses ?

It was to do with the group buy on gauges i think you'll find, i almost deleted them, but i am using opera as browser and mail at mo and haven't worked out how to turn preview pane off yet else i'd of done the sane thing.

i've had an e-mail from sccobynetgroupbuy@hotmail.com.
the others were definately addresses that i've never seen before.
are you on the groupbuy ? - have i missed out on any info. apart from the original e-mail ?
