Any good? Reliability? Robustness? etc etc
Quite taken with the new GRT-785B:
2.66 Ghz Pentium 4
512Mb RAM
60Gb hard drive
n VIDIA (GeForce FX420) 32MB
15" TFT (NOT the onyx one
)
DVD player/CD rewriter
3 x USB 2
Firewire
Sony Magic Stick (whatever that is!)
10/100 LAN
Video out
Parallel printer port
2 years warranty
£1199 inc VAT at John Lewis
External floppy drive at £50
..I can't spec an equivalent Dell for less than £1550 or so.
Only downsides seem to be limited battery life (1hr 30 min tops) and no DVD write capability - but I need a Centrino based top of the range Inspiron 8600 to solve those two..and they're £1900-£2000
Thoughts please?
TIA
