Each time I start up I get an error message that "Support has encountered a problem and is closing down" and I get an option to send an error report to Microsoft (thanks). Tried uninstalling "Support" but it doesn't work. it takes up time on startup and is generally annoying.

It worked fine until I installed an update a couple of months ago. Anyone know if there's a patch or some sure fire way of really removing the program from startup?

Xp Pro, Dell Inspiron 8200.

Cheers!

Try contacting Dell's tech support. They are very good.

It might be in the run key in the registry.

Run regedit and have a look in HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent Version\Run
