Tried installing patch from MS and mentioned in other thread but get error message

Setup cannot verify integrity of the file update.inf make sure the cryptographic service is running on this machine.

done a search on MS but nothing sorted yet.

Any ideas?

I had the problem, got it sorted. Will post the link for you later.

 

For my machine it was a corrupted catalog. Look in windows\system32\

If you see a folder called catroot2, rename it (if you cant, do it in safe mode command line) and then try the update. It then works fine.
