How do I re-install my whole system?

Basically I have a few reasons why I just want to wipe my whole system completely and start again. As in reinstall xp and then all the programmes I NEED! So what do I do? Any Advice?

You need the XP disk. Boot from the cd rom. Get to the setup screen. Choose Setup XP, then choose delete partion. This will not only wipe you hard drive but blow the partion. It will ask you about 3 times if you want to do this just go with it. The next screen wil ask you to install xp on the unpartioned space say yes. Depending on the size of you hard drive you will have the option for either Fat32 or NTFS go with NTFS. XP will no both partion and format, and install XP.You will need the drivers for the Graphics, Sound & Modem if XP does not pick them up. Best get the modem drivers before the deed so you can download the other drivers if needed later. Good Luck!
