I have an Asus a7n8x delux mobo which has dolby digital output, which speakers are best for playing surround sound games etc - I was looking at The Creative Inspire 5.1 Digital 5500 speaker system with external decoder.. Will this work "as-is".

Any other recommendations on speakers ?

Thumbs up

I've got the older DT2500 5.1 speakers from Creative/Cambridge Soundworks and they are flipping superb IMHO for computer speakers - also real good for FPS games - wicked sound!

The dogs bollocks are the Logitech Z-680 but for £230 are quite a bit of money.
