anyone know a why of working out the password I used when I setup my email account 2 years ago.

Cant remember what I used so I am bit stumped

Using Ie 6 or 6.5 I think

what sort of email account ,
1. your online ISP.
2. An exchange account ?

1. they usually have routines for lost passwords
2. see exchange administrator

 

there is a way if your email settings are installed on a machine and you can see the ******** where the password is.

there are tools you can download which will reveal what is behind the *********

really cool just hover it over the **** and it changes to the correct password

Damn im so annoyed that I didnt get the correct password when guessing I tired all I needed to but not the correct combination if you get my drift

if the account is still setup on the computer, and you still have access to this computer.

Purchase Advanced OE Password Recovery, and install it. I have used it a few times on other peoples machines, works with all versions of oe.
