Excel Guru? - Bored moment?
I have set up an excel spreadsheet that I want columns side by side giving engine power in both BHP and kW.
I would like to be able to enter a value in either units (in the correct column) and for the sheet to automatically convert and enter the correct value in the the other column.
A colleague has written a VBA macro to do this, but when the sheet is re-opened the cells show circular references. They still work, but it looks messy.
Can it be done in a tidy fashion?
Cheers
Mick

Mark - thanks for your email.
I just wrote a couple of paragraphs explaining what exactly I meant and how you hadn't understood, before posting I had another check on your sheet and I had missed how it works
Thanks mate - Brilliant

OK...
Having moved it into my working spreadsheet I have changed the reference to the cells with values for the actual values (with advice
)
The thing is working but only on new input data. Data that is already in the sheet is not used, - a slow work around is to select each cell press F2 and then return and then select the next cell. Also the ability of the code to work on pasted in data would be useful.

Be warned tho'. Its a bit rough and ready
I'd be interested in any improvements/other ways this can be done
