Looking to get a GPS system for the car to use with an IPAQ 3970.
Have got details on the Travroute system and the Navman 3400.
If anyone has used either would appreciate some info. Not much difference in price so just down to ease of use and how accurate each one is.

Thanks

Grant

Tomtom is cool, plus you can also use Trafcams GPS speed camera warning software at the same time, www.trafcam.co.uk

I'm looking for something that'll do Europe down to a good level too... I take it that if you get the Tomtom europe then britain isn't as good as the GB one on it's own?

Talking

Grant, EMTAC is a company that makes a GPS receiver. I have a EMTAC Bluetooth GPS receiver, it talks to my ipaq wirelessly using bluetooth. It has an internal rechargeable battery which can be recharged using the ipaq charger.

In the UK these are distributed by a company called Socket, and is badged as such.

Lookie here for more info.
