NT Challenge/Response with WIN2k Active Directory

HELP!!
Can anyone let me know if NT Challenge/Response authentication works if your domain controllers are Active Directory??
I have our Web servers running NT4 and have just upgraded to Active Directory DC's but are now getting asked for logon info when accessing the sites.
