Does anyone know of any little utilities that can keep an eye on uptime/availability of servers/internet connection ?

Ideally something that would log datestamps

For Windows 2000/NT use MS's command line Uptimei utility :-)

Looking more for internet uptime, rather than server uptime.

Do you want to monitor the local machine or are you really looking for some kind of health check for a bunch of machines? SNMP may be what you're after either way.
