How do you get beyond the doorway protected by the force field?
I cannot see how the laser robot on the ceiling gantry can be used to help, beyond destroying all the robots in the other room it can see.

The camera thingy which you control can be moved on the rail - just crash it into the force field and it will disappear.

Alternately, pick up some body armour and walk through the force field.

 

But the rail doesn't got through the forcefield - it goes through a hole in the wall above the forcefield.

 

Hmm..I'm wondering if we're talking about the same place - this is the first green force field? Or do you mean the red force field which is up above? I'm referring to the green force field, move the camera by pushing the joystick upwards and it'll go through the force field so you can then get through the doorway.

 

Don't you just use the ariel gun to shoot the force field emitters?
Or am I thinking of the wrong bit too.... ?

 

Just thinking about the other force fields...you have to get through the green one first so you can trip the switch which is on the left after you've gone through the green force field. This brings out the gantry and shuts off the two force fields (red ones) on either side so you can then go across to the other side of the big room. Once you get over the other side of the room you pick up "electrifier" thingy (great fun that, try hitting the splitters with it to see what happens ). Once you've got the electrifier thingy (can't remember the name!) you use it to turn the power sources - the big triangular shaped things with the light in them. If I remember correctly, after you blow up the power sources, the other force fields start to disappear one by one.

 

It's the red force field that's causing the problems.
So somewhere along the line there's another switch to turn off the red one. I've got as far as the "electifier" thing and the gantry control camera.

 

When you start the level and go through the doors, instead of going right (which will take you to the main room), turn left and go through the door there. That will take you down the corridors which will lead to the area where the green force field is with the switch behind it to turn off the red force fields and bring the gantry out across the big room. If you've got that far already then all you have to do is to start whacking the splitters and turn the power thingys with the electrifier.
