I've done all 10 levels on Easy mode and am going through them again in Normal mode...erm....it's harder than I thought it would be !

I'm on the first level (Siberia). I've done everything but am stuck when I get to the top of the dam at the end and have to take down the helicopter gunship. Every time I get up there it seems like one or more of the special forces comes up behind me and I'm mincemeat. Any tips on how to finish off this last bit and clear the level?

Found one on gamefaqs.com where I usually go but it wasn't a lot of use to be honest. Pity...it's just this last little bit that's got me stumped and it takes about 6 or 7 minutes to get to it from the save point each time. Oh well...just gotta keep at it I suppose!

I just alternate between taking potshots at the gunship using the mounted guns and taking out the army guys.
That's why there's 2 sets of guns on the top of the dam

 

Cheers guys. I think I need to conserve more ammo somehow before getting to the top of the dam as I seem to run out all too quickly. I suppose if I spent a bit more time using the pistol on the zombie head-shots and maybe the shotgun on the mutants, I could save the S47 for the special forces at the top. Gotta love this game

 

WOOHOO! Got the sucker ! The trick (for me) was to keep max ammo in the S47 to take out the special troops on the dam. Went back and did it again with my son in team mode...much easier as I could cover him whilst he took out the gunship.

Notre Dame next - bring on those zombies!
