I have an old Dell laptop for work and it's running on windows 2000. I can't get my laptop to see my mobile via infra red I have installed all the software from Nokia but no luck. Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

With Dell you have to enable the infrared in the BIOS before it works.
Go here and search for infra red.

I used to have problems with the IR port causing the serial port problems when using an external ISDN TA - so kept the IR disabled unless I needed it.

Doesn't happen now - so one of the BIOS upgrades must have fixed it. (Dell Latitude)

Mine's the Dell latitude too. I just hope that fixes it.
