Question

I was thinking of buying one of the new Dell SX260 PCs. It comes with a 2.5" 5400rpm 40GB disk (rather than a 3.5" 7200 rpm in the normal desktop chassis).

Does anyone know if i'm likely to see a noticable reduction in performance with this drive?

Many thanks.

Steve.

Yes I expect you will. Laptop hard disks are a good deal slower. Sorry
