Hi,

My mouse pointer keeps going on to the egg timer thingy every 4 secs for just a second so giving the veiw of a slow blink.It started doing this last night for no reason so i rebooted and it went away.Tonight the bloody thing wont stop,any ideas.

have you checked the task manager (sorted by CPU) to see what coincides with the hourglass?

Please tell me more as i have no idea what your on about but will start poking around while waiting for a reply,i have not changed anything though to make it start doing this.

this does sort of assume you have nt/win2k or xp, but in task manager look at all the processes. click on the cpu column and you should see something like...


try to see what processes are at/near the top when your mouse goes hourglassy.
