Hi, we've just had a new optical internet connection put it with our own firewall and now I can't get into msn messenger. Is there anything I can do that doesn't involve messing with the firewall or server?
Cheers

Bob,
With Messenger running (ie you have attempted to connect and failed) go to the connections tab and see what the message in the lower part of the screen says.
Which version are you using?

There's nothing in the "server" box, the "port" box has 80 in it and the two boxes below aren't highlighted. Below all that it says I'm not connected to NET.messenger service
I'm on the old version, haven't downloaded the new one yet, do you think it may be worth doing that?
