I have a toshiba satellite pro 550mhz celeron thats getting a little slow and tired now! Is there another faster CPU that i can just plug in??
Any help would be appreciated!

I have always found laptops really difficult and expensive to buy parts for as they are so small. They only thing I have ever managed to do, easily and cheaply is upgrade RAM via the expansion port on the underside of the laptop.

Mart what is you machien model number? It should say it on the back. Satellite 4600 2100 or something like that. I'll see what type of memory it takes.

All i can find is 4200??? Is that any good?
