I have NTL bb, thought the same when I got it, but later in the evening it seemed to be going quicker. I am sharing the connection between 2 PCS (very easy and well worth it) and it seemed quicker on my 2nd PC, strange!!

I have ntl 600k.
BB Speed Tester gave readings of 85Kbs/680Kbs earlier.
Try Proxy Info Pages for local server.

Theres loads of stories doing the rounds atm re having to adjust your MTU, apparantly this is something thats really affecting BT ADSL customers but prob affects cable etc aswell.
Loosing the signal Si? You sure youve got your telly tuned in right then, hehe
