right guys i need some info on modding my xbox. Its a V1.1 with 10gig seagate hard disk. I want to know anything you think i might want to know or even might not want to know. What should i do with it etc etc just any help would be good.

If you are modding your Xbox, it could be that you cannot use Xbox-Live! (some detection system?) You might keep this in mind.
I have a US-Xbox and will have to find out, if I can use it for Xbox Live from Europe.

it seems i have to wait till the mod chip is out anyway the x-ecutor 2 is the one i need/want

oh it says on that website its not sure if it will support the V1.1 on the Xodus

I have spoken to a couple of people with the Xodus/Matrix who have had to refit it after a while as the spring loaded pins have moved off the contacts. Cant give any opinions tho as i dont have one. I have an X-Ecuter 1.1 in my Xbox and its great !!

Oh and you can use Xbox Live. People have used it since the start of the service with modded Xboxes. Look at DJ Dunks link (and the forums) for accurate reports on it.
