Not wanting to sound thick ... but where can i check that?
I presume my web hosting company would have to do this - I asked them and they said that the cgi-bin folder has anonymous write access.

I'm trying (!) to implement an uploader on my site
http://www.aviz.co.uk/upload/upload.asp
But i keep getting a "can not be written" error when i try to upload a file.
I really do not know anything about asp.. could anyone have a quick look and see if there is anything basic i am doing wrong
the files should upload to cgi-bin/upload, which my webspace providers say has write access (don't know whether this is true - can i check ??)
IF so,eone wants to really help, i can supply the asp files
Thanks
Andy
