My job means i often am at work at the weekend when there's not much to do.Where i work is pretty strict about installing software and using the internet on company pc's.
Basically my question is ,what can i do on my pc to pass the time.I can play CD's,obviously, but what else. Can you play VCD's on Windows Media player,or are there any games that you dont need to install any software for,ie a read only CD-Rom(if such a thing exists?).
What i want is something which involves no installing of software.

Suggestions please.

vcd's yes if it on version 7.1,

load up and just look for the huge data file and run it (may need a couple of codecs though)

do it on mine no problem

other than that how good are they at auditing, simply install in non standard directory path !!

get some old games that fit onto floppy disks, that way you can just play them off the disk.
