The CD has packed up (XM-1502B) and the battery (Li-ion type PA2448U) won't hold charge.
Anyone got these lying around or know anyone who does good prices?

Yep. I've got one of those CD-Roms if you want it ?
May have a battery too, but ours are probably knackered as well, they are pretty poor.

and the batteries are £250!

Nice laptop for my needs - but I don't want to spend £400 doing it up.
