I have a new ketboard with the Power/Sleep/Wake buttons on it.
Power works fine but Sleep doesn't do anything, is there something I have to set up somewhere in XP?

Don't think so, there's only mention of the power button under the Power Management applet in XP.

My Microsoft Keyboard came with it's own software. I needed to install that to get all the buttons too work.

It may be in the power management section of the bios or even a jumper setting on the motherboard

Bit of a shot in the dark, but try setting the machine type in power settings to be a laptop. Most laptops have power and a separate standyby/resume button, if you set the machine type to laptop an new set of parameters become available. You may be able to use your new set of buttons to emulate a laptop's standby/resume features.
