I have some hacking going on..on my server and dropping viruses which is causing hundreds of hotmail messages being queued on my exchange server. how do I block this b**tard from coming in and dropping these viruses/using my server as a relay.

any suggestions?

Thats really two questions.

1. How to stop the "hacker" getting in.
2. How to stop Exchange being used as a relay.

Number two is easier. I suggest you concentrate on number 1!! You dont want anyone on you machine/LAN uninvited. If you have a public facing machine/LAN do you not have a firewall?

Unplug the ethernet cable and then relax, you now have breathing room to sort the relay problem.

SMARTHOSTS is the way to go...
