Question

Cheers Jack, just checking the dat version on our Groupshield, file dates are 30-9-2002 so all ok. How do i check the dat version for Groupshield other than by dat date??

Version and engine number should be visible...

Sorry don't have any servers to hand atm to tell where exactly (No job that needs me to look after servers!)

"5.5 - start, programs, exchange, exchange admin. Under the site name click configuration and then select the server name. GSE should be visible on the RHS - right click it and go to properties and then select the version tab.

2k - start, programs, McAfee, Groupshield exchange, Groupshield exchange manager. Double click on the site, then the server name and you should see configuration. Right click it and go to version."

thks... right clicking on the config had caught me out.... normal clicking just gives you a web looking brief bit of info...
