THE finest footie game EVER is being released in England on 8th November.
Pro Evolution Soccer II (KONAMI)
Don't confuse this game with the pap internation superstar soccer (ISS) 2 which came out a few months ago.
Pro Evo Soccer II is the finest football game ever. Shandy drinking FIFA fans may need not apply. Saying that you may only have tried FIFA for PS2 and nothing else - well here's you chance to sample the REAL master.

Nick - you'll not notice much difference in the screenshots - you have to see it moving to appreciate the tons of extra animation.
eg. When you tackle a player theres tons of ways he falls to the ground. The ball has much better physics too, and you can tackle for it properly.
Shooting has been improved but still difficult
There's a Gran Turismo style licence section in the training where you have to perform alloted tasks in a certain ammount of time (dribbling free kicks, keep possession) to unlock new players
It may not look like it in the screenshots but its a huge improvement - fine tuned to perfection! Oh and the commentary team has changed - can't remember who but they're top notch. (I've been playing the Jap version for the last 4 months)
