Grabbing NT account when submitting a form
Christian, i know you can obtain the account name in dos.
Using nbtstat -A <ip address>
if you use f'rinstance "nbtstat -A 140.20.30.155 >> USER.HTML"
this will put the computers details plus the user who is logged in;
into an html document.
Try it m8.
ps it will dump it in root of your c drive

going on from this, anyway of grabbing the computer name as well that made the request?
I have tried the Request.ServerVariables("REMOTE_HOST") - but just seems to return the ip address, like the "REMOTE_ADDR"
Any other ways??

Does anyone know of any code(java?) that will allow me to insert the person who is logged on (their username) into a html form automatically?
If this cannot be done, how about when the html form is submitted, can the account information be included?
This is for our internal network / w2k domain / w2k iss server, on an area of the intranet which only certain staff have members have, and is restricted via ntfs.
